UEFA revealed the verdicts on the aftermath of the Valencia v Inter game and they did stand true to their word, handing out heavy punishments.

The most notable one being the banning of David Navarro for 7 months from European competition and FIFA is set to upgrade this to a worldwide ban.

Valencia's Marchena has been banned for 4 games for his part, whilst Burdisso and Maicon have been given 6 match bans. Cordoba has been given a 3 match ban and Cruz a 2 match ban.

As well as this both clubs have been fined a paltry ?110,000 each.

I just hang in that section because my team is in that league until the end of the season.

I just dont see what all the fuss about this incident is.

It was a massive Brawl. Something that rarely happens and a player has got a 7MONTH ban. Thats a pretty big incident IMO

the last time (that i can remember) someone got a ban that long was mr r. ferdinand and that was big news.

i think this is prett big news and seeing as its champions leauge news, and this is the champions league section, me thinks that this should be here.

go learn about other topics, then you can comment in other forums, youd be stuff because the championship section is very new

Rams stop moaning about it doesnt effect the English game, It effects the Champions League maybe you wont care because your team will never get in the Champions League but this is a football forum as max says we discuss football matters and this is a football matter so just crawl back to your "Championship section" and stay there and dont come out unless you are going to post sensibly..
