Shootings happen, people run out and buy assault rifles and high-cap mags before a ban they think is coming. So all this talk about banning assault rifles has put probably tens of thousands more into circulation. And the price gouging has been ridiculous. Magpul mags have gone up five or six times the price that they were before the shooting, but people are still buying.
Man for those prices they should at least give everyone a free role of duct tape with their purchase.
Mags that were selling for $12 are now going for something like $60 each. That's crazy markup. Even if there is a ban, it wouldn't take effect immediately. During the last assault rifle ban, I think AR's were selling for around 1k each. That would probably double or triple.
yeah I remember that, but at the same time chineese knock off AK 47s where selling on the black market at around 350 to 400..
