https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/seinfeld-actor-charles-levin-car-baffled-police New details have emerged about the death of former “Seinfeld” and “Night Court” actor Charles Levin. Levin's son had reported him missing on June 28 after the 70-year-old actor called a friend to say he was lost near Cave Junction, Ore. On July 13, his body was found in a slope near the road where it had been partially consumed by what police believe to be turkey vultures. According to new details obtained by USA Today, police were baffled by how Levin’s orange Fiat made it so far down the desolate mountain road in a remote part of Oregon. Responders reportedly noted that there were several fallen trees in the area that made getting vehicles down the path particularly difficult. The Fiat was reportedly found four miles from the nearest paved road on terrain that was so treacherous to traverse that officers had to walk a quarter of a mile away from their emergency vehicle to reach the spot. An old guy got lost in the woods and drove down an embankment where his car got stuck. He tried to dig out the tires, but failed. He wandered around confused before he died of either an animal attack or of natural causes due to the elements. Birds ate and shit on his corpse. Then he was found. Nothing baffling about it.
Southern Oregon can get pretty wild and rugged very quickly. Coming from there and being an outdoorsman, it doesn't surprise me in the least.
Considering the time of year (July) and the fact he was driving between 2 residences he knew well, the fact he turns up 4 miles off pavement and dead by his car with his dog inside, murder seems at least as plausible as anything else. Unless snow-covered, USFS roads are easily navigable and clearly marked with a simple numbering system. He would have no reason to leave the pavement, and if stuck or lost could simply walk back down the road he came in on. He certainly would not have driven past/over downed trees.
One time I got off work at Boeing late intending to drive to my parents' house in Gearhart. I was gonna go down I-5 about half way to Portland and then cut across to highway 101 and shoot straight down to Gearhart. Well it was dark and we had just had a windstorm with branches everywhere. I got going the wrong way on my on my exit to the road going to 101. I turned around in the middle of the road thinking I had plenty of room because the other side of the road looked like it had plenty of flat ground adjacent to the road. It turned out that what I thought was flat ground was a very steep embankment. I nearly went over. Had I gone over, the accident would have been nasty and I don't know if I would have survived. People get disoriented and especially at night and when there isn't much traffic along the road so you can see where you're going a little better. Right now, if the same sort of thjing occurred I probably would have gone over the embankment given my blindness in one eye and not real good vision in the other eye.
You miss the point. People, deep state people, plotted to kill him and then make it look like it was an accident. But, ta daaa, we've got MAGA people Johnny on the spot to foil their dastardly deeds. Oh, there are people plotting against us all the time. They even drive down the road that you house is on just to get a look at you. Oh, they're everywhere.
Old men tend to get lost easily because they forget what they are not going to be able to easily discredit the testimony of Col. Vindman or Amb. Taylor. barfo
