    As in "who would you rather have". I just saw that Jennings dropped 55 the other night and he seems pretty successful for a Bucks team that is winning.

    Perhaps this may shut up the Oden vs. Durant types....the better Jennings does, the less of an aura that Durant is and the less unique he is....like I said you will always find swing-type players who can put up the numbers....big centers like Oden are MUCH harder to find. Like was said on draft day, there are going to be a lot of KDs...but big centers who can affect the team offensively and defensively are fewer and further between!

    I think the comparisons will start if Jennings continues putting up big numbers. Then the comparisons will turn into Bynum vs. Oden.

    Oden and Durant were picks #1 and #2 in the same draft. Jennings was drafted 2 years later. Much different.

    There will always be a Oden-Durant talk.

    Let's see:

    Drafted in different classes? Check.
    Play completely different positions? Check.
    Have never been linked in any way shape or form before? Check.

    Yup, I can see how everyone will be talking about Jennings vs. Durant. No brainer.

    they are both offensive-minded swing players, similar in age.

    Jennings is technically a PG I guess but he seems to have the mentality of a scorer, if you just look at what he's doing. I haven't seen him yet though.

    It's such a small sample though for Jennings. If he is able to keep this up and win ROY, I could see some comparisons between Durant and Jennings, only because they are both scorers. If things continue like they have been:

    Jennings = AI

    Durant = Dirk

    Isn't that basically the definition of most players in the NBA? They both like to score but there's nothing similar about their games at all. Jennings is a ball-handler, Durant is best catching and shooting. One uses his speed to get his, the other uses his pure stroke and extreme length.

    I just don't see any parallels between them at all, other than they like to score the basketball.

    Do people compare Stephon Marbury (back when he was good) with Kobe Bryant for instance?
