Time for the rosters to expand. Who do you want your team to call up for the end of the season? Anybody in your team's system who might help them for the stretch run? Any veterans who might lose some at bats?

We need some extra bullpen arms. I'd like to give Edgar Martinez, Marcus McBeth, Jon Switzer a look. Martinez is a relatively young flamethrower at AAA right now, he's been in the system for a bit. I think its time to give him a shot in the majors. McBeth and Switzer are right and left handed relievers respectively, and they've seen time in the majors before.

As far as position players go, that will be tough. We have Argenis Diaz at AA, but he's a shortstop and I wouldn't want to mess up Lowrie's throw. The Sox just can't afford to give extended playing time to young, unproven, minor-league position players when they have 30 days to catch Tampa and have little room for error.
