Time for the rosters to expand. Who do you want your team to call up for the end of the season? Anybody in your team's system who might help them for the stretch run? Any veterans who might lose some at bats?
Currently the Durham Bulls are in the Final round of the AAA playoffs vs the Yankees so once the SP make their start they will get called up. You can expect call ups in order: 1. LHP David Price- after he makes his start in the middle of this week 2. RHP Jeff Niemann- will get called up after this weekend, had one start in the MLB and won, pitched a 2 hit shutout with 11 Ks in his playoff start 3. RHP Mitch Talbot- was called up once but never played will be in the bullpen 4. 1B Dan Johnson- Has 3 years experience in the MLB and had 27 HRs in AAA 5. OF Johnny Gomes- our power bat the last 3 years, sent to the minors to perfect his swing 6. 2B Elliot Johnson- played some at the begginning of the season will also play SS and 3B 7. OF Nathan Haynes- played about 10-15 games with the Rays, left handed bat utlity OF 8. C John Jaso and Speed OF Fernado Perez have already been called up
