Sessions has been obviously better than both of them out of the 3 games they have played so far this season. Razor Ramon has been able to create for everyone while he's been on the floor while Flynn is mostly looking for his own shot. I've debated this with numerous people over the last week or so, but Flynn doesn't fit with their starting group at all. With Love out right now, their bench lacks a scoring punch that Flynn would create off the bench while Sessions would be able to feed the starters much better than Flynn has thus far.
What? Have you watched the games? Yes, Sessions has been able to create better for teammates, in the sense that he hasn't turned the ball over as much. But other than that, Flynn has been clearly the better player so far in the first three games, and it's pretty unanimous among Wolves fans. This isn't to rip on Sessions, because I have loved the way he has played thus far, but he hasn't outplayed Flynn, especially on the defensive side of the ball, which is something we lack most. And, what difference would it make if Love was back. How would Flynn coming off the bench now make any difference if or if not Love was healthy? Outside of Jefferson, this entire roster is lacking a go-to guy, and Flynn has tried to be that guy, and has been very successful thus far, putting up good numbers in limited minutes. The only reason Rambis has preferred Sessions is because he runs the triangle, and Sessions works better in that system because he isn't a guy who needs the ball in his hands as much as Flynn does.
