Hey guys, just a quick tutorial on how to personalize this site a little.

If you want to set up an avatar, which is a picture or animated gif that will appear under your username on the left, you are free to do so. The maximum size of your custom image is 176 by 176 pixels or 488.3 KB (whichever is smaller). You can upload something from your computer or use a hotlink. To do so, scroll to the top of the page and click on "Settings". From there, look on the left hand side of the page and under the My Settings menu for My Profile, under which you can see Edit Avatar. Once you click on that it will give you the option to upload or link. You can remove it or change it anytime.

Likewise, if you want to have a signature, which is something that will go under all of your posts, follow the same process except click on Edit Signature. You can include images in your signature as well.

Another option in My Profile is to display things like your location, age, ICQ/AIM/MSN/Yahoo/Skype information, homepage, and have a custom title or message under your avatar. You can even add a picture to your profile so when other posters click on your username they can see it. This is all available under My Settings and My Profile.

If you're getting excessive emails regarding replies to posts or private messages, you can shut those off as well, or customize it so you only get them under certain circumstances. In My Settings under General Settings you will see a Messaging & Notification section where you can opt-in or opt-out of email notifications.

    Cheers & Have Fun!
