Seven Barça Players Up For FIFA Award
FC Barcelona have had seven players nominated on the shortlist for the FIFA World Player of the Year despite not winning a major trophy last term.
The Blaugrana are out in front as the club side with the most players to make it on to the 30-man list, while Real Madrid have just two players up for the award. Thierry Henry is the only player from Barça who joined the club over the summer, as Lilian Thuram, Rafa Márquez, Deco, Samuel Eto'o, Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho all impressed in the club's colours. Madrid have Fabio Cannavaro and Ruud Van Nistelrooy included, but the favourite for the honour is AC Milan's Brazilian superstar Kaká. Only six of the 30 players ply their trade in Serie A, while the Premiership and la Primera provide ten each, three come from the Bundesliga and only Juninho Pernambucano plays in France. They were unfortunate to get knocked out of europe by the kings (LFC) and did come runner ups. But there players played exceptionally well.

i think it could go to any of the people but i will just have to wait and see

Kaka will win it i think. But good for Barca to have 7 players even if some of them shoudn't be there.
