So in the near future, should Scott issue a denial that one of his players is about to be moved, he may honestly be telling the truth.</div> New York Post Take this with a grain of salt ... Peter Vecey wrote the article. Anyway, despite P.J. being the leader of the team and best player on it, he's definitely expendable. At age 36, Brown is only declining, but he could be valuable to a playoff team. For some young players, expiring contracts, and/or more unportected draft picks, P.J. Brown will definitely be traded. It won't be a favorable decision by the organization with this being his sixth consecutive year with the Hornets, but it will definitely be for the better. In the draft, the Hornets can get someone like Shelden Williams who is capable of replacing Brown's role with the Hornets.
My take on ageing players, get rid of them. Bring in someone younger, and just as talented who can mesh with the team that can stay together for a few years. I'd rather have chemistry, which is built through playing together over a period of time, than age. Yeah the older guys are more experienced, but that's not what is needed in this league.

P.J is vital to their lineup and losing him would be a shocking blow, although one i think the Hornets wouldn't mind that much. Would love him in Memphis although part of me wants him to stay with the Hornets because it will aide the development of Chris Paul.
please dont trade him the hornets need him and he could be a mentor to younger players especially jr smith
