    Sell.

But I can see him being more of a point forward.

Trading him might get us the SG of the future.

I'm thinking more along the lines of packaging Matthews/Felton/Wallace to land us that PG.

Has shown 0 ability in the NBA at not only creating his own shot because of average ball-handling, but he also hasn't shown the aggressiveness, either. Also, Wesley isn't a bad option at SG at all.

The team needs a PG and C. Pretty simple.

I might get roasted for this, but I think Nic is a better ball handler and passer than Wes. And his performance this summer/fall in Europe is confirming that belief.

We have a plethora of wings already. We need bigs.

Well, Wes isn't exactly know for his handle, either.

I just love his aggressiveness on a team full of guys that make too many extra passes

    sell
SF, with Wes at SG. If one of them can figure out how to create their own shot consistently. Otherwise, one needs to go.

So we want the PG of the future to have no SG on the team and only 1 SF?

    that's...smart, I guess.

    Sell.

He doesn't have the handles in traffic to be one on offense full-time.

Well, it's kind of a semi-rebuild. Upgrading the talent should always be the goal. The Blazers will always be a middling team until we get a real PG. The other pieces will fall into place after we get LMA a PG.

I blame McMillan on this. Nic has a very small role in his offense. He's pretty much handcuffed to the corner three unless they somehow push the ball on a break.

Uhhh ... I think I'm going to sell.

I don't know that guys like Batum can suddenly make themselves much more aggressive night to night, play to play after showing themselves to have essentially a passive (if opportunistic) personality and style of play.

I mean, it's nice that he's been so aggressive for his French Euroleague team, but it's going to be extremely difficult to recast himself when he's already built up a certain amount of inertia with the Blazers -- his teammates expect him to be a role-player and stepping out of that is going to mean Nic demanding the ball from them and being somewhat "selfish." I have a really hard time visualizing that happening.

What PG do you have in mind? I don't think we could get anyone for that package that would be worth it.

He's too tall to guard guards. His listed height may be similar to Prince's, but it's really a lot more.
