<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned guard Shannon Brown to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League, Cavaliers General Manager Danny Ferry announced today.

Brown has played in 13 games (four starts) for the Cavaliers this season and has averaged 2.3 points and 1.2 rebounds in 8.8 minutes per game. He posted a career-high 10 points on Nov. 29 vs. New York. Brown was selected by Cleveland with the 25th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.</div>
Good move, he's not getting any time. I really like him though. He's a very explosive athlete, can play the 2 and some 1 if need be, he's aggressive, he brings a lot of energy. I think he'll end up being a very solid rotational player in the future, he just needs some time to get his feet wet.
