From 355 lbs to nearly 315 lbs...and he hasn't really began practices yet in Miami. To be honest, I don't like Shaq and never have, but I'm beginning to worry if this is even healthy. Man, that's a drastic weight change in hardly a few months. On a lighter note (no pun intended), if he comes out in the Heat's opener looking like Manute Bol, I'll die laughing.
all i can say is wow. I'm really happy for shaq. i'm happy that he has his weight down, hes healthy, and happy on the heat team. i think he should have a great year.

I wouldn't get too excited yet, Shaq has often lied about his weight. Laker fans were excited last summer when Shaq stated he was in great shape and had lost plenty of weight. This is one of the "got to see to believe"
Well if the reports are true than this is the weight that Riley wanted him at by training camp so that's a good thing. It'll probably I wouldn't worry about Shaq losing too much weight. The Heat have a great strength and conditioning system (which is their top priority before entering training camp) and these paid pros know what they're doing. Last season, all we kept hearing was that Shaq was finally in shape for redemption, how he hired Tracy Mcgrady's trainer and lost all this weight....in the end, it was the same old shaq. I'm going to remain skeptical until I see Shaq on the court.
