After Rafer Alston's three-pointer cut Miami's deficit to 78-77 with 7:13 remaining, Fisher scored the next eight points to give the Lakers their biggest lead at 86-77. Then O'Neal took over.

The 7-2 center capped the duo's scoring binge with a steal and thunderous dunk for a 92-83 lead with 1:32 to play. Miami got no closer.

"They (The Heat) awoke a sleeping giant out there tonight and it was just a matter of making a statement and producing," O'Neal said.

"I love playing in the Miami humidity," Fisher said. "Once I got lathered up, I felt good and it all seemed to be working for me."

Wow, Wade's back, playing up to snuff. I'm so glad, he's truly the Wildcard that the Heat need to still compete in the NBA. Always glad to see Odom continue to perform well. I'm kind of surprised Alston made a three, he's not that much of a shooter. Shaq and Fisher, damn.

You're joking, right? I'm sorry, but how could you actually be surprised that he hit one three-pointer? That just shows you don't know anything about Skip or his game, at all. Skip has consistently made at least one 3-pointer in 20 straight games this season, the ONLY other player in the NBA that has done this is Ray Allen. He also ranks 15th in the league in 3-point FG's made shooting .346 from beyond the arc and .359 from the field.

Sorry but I read he wasn't all that great. I heard he was more like Shamgod or that recent acquisition of the Blazers with handle but no shot, sorry for my mistake and correcting me.
