    the variables for the GOAT are always up for debate. Steph, LeBron, MJ, Kareem, Wilt, Magic, Bird, etc... the list is vast and full of amazing basketball.

    who is truly the best of the best? I still gotta go with Jordan. (Yes, he beat Drexler & Kersey and isn't the most loved player in Portland). One thing that gets overlooked with Michael is.... how many rings and finals MVP's would Jordan if he handn't taken a 2 year break from basketball? If we could add +2 to the 5 & 6, there wouldn't be any doubt on who #1 is. The fact that Jordan completely stepped away from basketball, and elevated his game after returning, only adds to Michael's legacy.
