    Shaq "I will buy the Magic after I retire."

    In an interview on Quite Frankly, Shaq said he has aspirations of purchasing the Orlando Magic. How would Magic fans feel about Shaq being the owner of your franchise?

    i think shaq would be another isiah as a GM but a great owner

    Totally agreed. Shaq would likely be one to break the bank for good players. I would be very excited if he bought the Dubs.

    Not sure if Shaq could afford to outright buy them...he'd probably need a heavy team of investors. I read Shaq is worth 222 million dollars.

    Well if you remember shaq said that same statement back when he was just about to leave the lakers, I think shaq would make a great owner, i mean he has the state of florida on his back and plus which player wouldnt want to play for shaq, hes gonna get the best of the best. It would be great for the magic he knows this city is passionate about there team and he also knows the state is as well. He would know excatly what to do and would be fabolous to see it happen, who knows maybe mj could go together with him

    I wouldn't mind if the Magic hired him. He seems like a talented and funny guy. He is also very charitable and has a good heart. Not only is he a great guy, he would attract some big names to O-Town so I would welcome him as our owner.

    I bet Shaq would be a good owner/recruiter on the side. I'm sure that he could work his touch and get his share of FAs come his way.
