This should be a nice way to cement shaq's place in nba history. Its been 11 years since his first finals appearance and 4 years since his last and now he's back. I already think shaq's legacy is cemented but how does this next trip to the finals impact his legacy if he wins? would he rank ahead of kareem, hakeem defenetly then?

I think it does, the man has been a wrecking crew and doing it in a different city with a different unit except for a co-star like Wade could boost that potential.

This is one of the reasons why I won`t be so down or anything if the Mavs lose, I respect Shaq and it would be nice to see him land some more hardware.

I dont think that shaq needs anymore help with his legacy. He is already considered one of the best centers ever, including dominating as a youngin among all time greats like ewing, hakeem, dikembe, zo, and a few more i cant remember

Sabonis was great too! His passing was very fun to watch.

Shaquille O'Neal will forever be remembered as the most dominate big man in NBA history.

Shaq never dominated Hakeem, granted Hakeem was in his prime while Shaq had just arrived in the league, Hakeem took Shaq to school when they played Orlando in the finals.

He was one of the most dominant players playing in that area, but if he didn?t dominate the players who mentioned I don?t see the point in mentioning there names. They just happened to play at the same time. Not a big deal. When they played each other the match ups where pretty even. Not trying to get into a big debate, or anything just don?t understand where your coming from.
