Pretty funny words from the Diesel's mouth being that last year on the stacked squad of superstars and quality bench players and magnificent coach to ever coach in the NBA didn't win a ring, so how does he firgure he will win a ring in Miami? LOL

Your forgettin the off season isnt over. Remember Shaq is the BEST recruiter in the league. He will bring some FAS to Miami. I have a distinct feeling KArl Malone will be one of them.

A man has to keep his promise. If Shaq doesn't, he's the greatest fraud. Well since it was said by the most dominant player, it's almost certain that the Heat will win the title.

"Dont ever under estimate the heart of a champion" anyone remember that quote. Shaq may have the drive to take the heat all the way now that there are no issues with him and kobe and all that drama of the lakers. If he is full health all year they may go all the way. I hope not though I want a magic vs twolves final though I know the magics are a long shot this season. Plus a team that traded for a former mvp has gotten to the finals 5 times before.

I just saw it on the news. As much as I'd like the Heat to win a title, it's not gonna happen next season. It's gonna take some time.

As long as Detroit stays healthy over the next 3-4 years, there is no way shaq and his Heat will beat them in the East. Detroit is too solid of a defensive team.

defense + 0 offense = just defense. You can't win without points with that said the pistons aren't really what would stop the heat. Eventhough I doubt the heat can beat the pistons. Now SPURS are an amazing team.

find a good sf that can feed the post, handle the ball, and score (good luck with no cap space), a good starting pf (or stick with haslem or malik allen...good luck with that), a good pg that can distribute the ball and run the offense (good luck again) because as much as i love wade, hes no pg...find 2 decent backup swing men...and then maybe you have a chance shaq...good luck you big oaf...im glad you're out of LA...you and you fat ass and fat contract...loser...you're gonna get knocked out round 2 of the playoffs at the latest, i dont care what kinda shape you work yourself into...

Damn i just came to think....It feels like yesterday when Shaq got drafted and brought all the hypes. And being a Georgetown fan, I hated him for taking NO.1 spot ahead of Zo. NOw ZO is gone. and Shaq's a veteran with 3 rings and people are talking about Shaq retiring. Damn time flies. I might feel the same when LeBron retires in....God knows when.

Please Shaq wont win a ring with the heat for another 5 years. Look what he had with the Lakers is first three years and he didnt win no rings. Now I look at the Heat lineup no diffearance. He has to get use to playing with no Kobe.

I will try and type what you were trying to say

Defense doesn't win unless you have decent offense, yet you somehow mention the Pistons as If they can't score.

    Billups
    Hamilton
    Wallace

Seems like a soild offensive attack to me.

Spurs are an amazing team yes, as are the Pistons.

Oh and Shaq will not win a championship in Miami, you need the right pieces to win a ring .Miami no longer have that, nor do they have guys who will consistantly knock down open shots.
