Nice info Banks. I remember Iverson was first for a long time. I never seen alot of new Shaq, Marbury, and T-Mac jerseys.
Yah, I never see many Shaq and T-Mac new jerseys here, but I guess it's because I live in a boarding school
I'm surprised that Okafor is that high, but Kobe still being in the top 10 surprises me, because what Laker fan at this point wouldn't already have a Kobe jersey?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Accord:</div><div class="quote_post">16. Dwyane Wade 17. Vince Carter Haha, owned.</div> I don't really see as Carter being "owned". His jerseys are still worn all of the world by more people than most of the players on the list.
Since when did Tim Duncan get fans? Not saying he isnt really good..but I always thought of him with very little fans.....
^I think he's in New York (from location under his nick), maybe people there don't really wear or buy Duncan jersey?
Well..I see his jersey all the time actually..but I was thinking that was more cause of the colors..and because it is in NY....but I didnt think that people all around the US did..guess I was wrong
I wonder why Gary Payton and Allan Houston are up there when Jermaine O'Neal and Rasheed Wallace aren't. That's surprising.
^^^ Not totally. Gary's a potential hall of famer and this list is from last year, so I would imagine they sold a lot of lakers jerseys being such a large market (which also explains Houston). On the same kind of idea, JO's jersey is the same as the last couple of years, so all his fans have them by now and Pistons fan weren't sure if Rasheed was staying in Detroit or not. I expect him up there this year.
I think the reason SHaq and T-mac's jerseys were most popular was because they are part of a new team with a new look. A few players that signed/got traded to different teams were in the top list.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Accord:</div><div class="quote_post">16. Dwyane Wade 17. Vince Carter Haha, owned.</div> I don't get it, Carter has been on the Raptors for how many years now? Many people will already have his jersey, Wade is a second year player, it really makes sense for him to have more jersey sales especially since Vince's popularity is dwindling. Allan Houston????????????????????????????????????? Gary Payton moved to a new team, when you move to a new team or are a new player, you in turn sell more jersey's because people don't have your jersey. Allan Houston?????????????????????????????????????
Allan Houston is still selling jerseys No surprise really, They are on new teams and all of their fans are getting their new jerseys. They are 2 of the most popular players in the NBA, so they have a lot of fans, and then you factor in the fans that converted to them when they joined their team...no surprise at all...but one more time... <u>ALLAN HOUSTON</u>
i'm glad to see meka up there and big ben bt i'm very surprised like kobe 8 ball to see ALLAN HOUSTON
