Well it was a few years back and Sly should remember this. For my step-son's birthday, I got close to court seats. Sly, myself and my step-son where there.

So before the game, I got knew Roy shoes and a Allstar Roy Jersey for my step son. We where on the court and Jared Jack said something to my son that he liked his shoes. Christian (my step-son) was all shy. I told Jack that Christian is a big fan of Roy.

Jack grabbed Christian and yelled out to Roy stretching on the floor "Hey B, this kid has better shoes than you!" Then walked him over. Roy talked to Christian for about a minute, then signed his shirt and shoes. It made my son's day. He was forever a Roy fan.

P.S. Christian used to be a Laker fan.

Saw this guy coming out of HS and followed him throughout his UW career through all the tourneys. Favorite player coming out of college too, has been my fav for going on 10 years now. While it still seems shortened, I'm satisfied. The kid epitomized UW basketball, and epitomized what it meant to dedicate yourself to your craft. Excited to see what's next for him. Batum is my new fav NBA player, for similar reasons.

Better yet, how UW basketball and PTB basketball came to epitomize him. Amazing how a guy can have that type of influence.

I saw him walking around really late at night in Belltown several years ago (maybe the summer before his rookie year) with a group of guys.

    That's all I got :)

I have had the privilege to meet Brandon a few times due to being a member on this board (Thanks ABM) and a season ticket holder. He is such a down to earth guy and always has a smile on his face. I have a picture of us together and I am wearing a Ducks shirt and pointing to the O. He thought that was hilarious. I am sad to see him go.

When I was a rent-a-cop working security at the RG I used to be down in the hallway where the players would walk in prior to the game. He'd always give me the obligatory hand pound and say whats up. Then jock sniffers like HCP would walk down the hallway and leave me hangin. :)

Seriously though. Always cordial, great guy. Great Blazer.

We got the sixth man shirt from him prior to the Christmas day game where he had a huge night against Denver. Was surprised at how quick he moved coming toward us.

Here in Houston, Brandon gave both of my sons autographed shoes. Aldridge gave them autographed Jersey, and Oden gave them a jersey as well. We werte decked out in Blazer gear for the playoffs a few years ago. All of them could not have been nicer

One time HCP let me shadow him for a laker game and I was beyond excited to just go and watch how stuff went down. Anyways HCP was showing me around and we went to the court Batum was shooting with bayless and Brandon was doing some kind of drill we went up to him HCP introduced me to him. He looked down at my shoes (red converse skate shoes) and said "daaaang those are sick! Whered you get those!" I told him "cals pharmacy it's a skateshop" and he said he was going to try and cop a pair. I tried to find out if they even made a skate shoe that big but it somehow fell through. But that was my broy experience. Haha
