Very simple. Background sucks. No effects and all. Text is alright I guess. Try using stock images and brushes on your sigs.

As for the sig though the bg is way to simple. All that's visible on the elft of the player for the bg is the clippers logo with lowered opacity and some blending. The text is weak and take off the outer glow on iut and try to do something else with it. Also change the font. Also it looks bad since the left side is blueish and the right side is a darkish brown. Really I think everything could use more work.

Stocks are needed check out the tut section and find the tut that dvf or w/e made. Good techniques there

There's too much text, the cool as ice is kinda cheesy but it's a great idea if done with proper execution.
