Dammit I was thinking the same damn thing before this article was posted and it pisses me off because FREAKIN PAUL ALLEN OWNS THE TEAM and the salery cap isn't an issue and even if it was trade some to free salery cap room cause he's worth it!!! READ IT!!!
I have to admit that I really don't understand why the Seahawks' front office treats Shaun Alexander so poorly. He's a great player. He deserves much better.
Im wondering why none of the teams jumped on Alexander in the off season?? This guy might break 2000 yards this season

Doesn't look like he'll be back in Seattle anyways next year.
Whoever does get him will pay a lot for him. He could be the league's highest paid running back next year. He is a lock to gain 100 yards nearly every time he goes out on the pitch!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>Doesn't look like he'll be back in Seattle anyways next year.</div> If thats the case then that will be good for him. Alexander deserves to be on a team that will give him what he so rightfully deserves.
He is great back. He should get paid about 80% of what LDT gets paid, since he doesnt have the recieving skills
Hey, I'm sure the Vikings would be willing to give up Napolean Harris for him. I hear he's a real underrated linebacker. [a note to those that don't understand sarcasm...the above statement was full of sarcasm. In fact, there was not a serious word in that statement.]
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>He is great back. He makes up his lack of recieving with a better rushing avg

LT has those 2 passing TDs and a recieving TD if u forgot but Shaun Alexander definetly deserves to get paid a lot. I think Alexander is the team and without him they wouldnt be as close as good as they are now.

Sooooooo, the INDISPUTABLE Truth is that Alexander DOESN'T make up for the lack of receiving yards with a better rushing avg. Tomlinson has more total yards than Alexander.
Alexander has two more rushing Td's than LT but he has thrown 2 td passes and caught a couple of TD's The difference is really miniscule but in fairness I think LT is better.
but i think that 80% of LT's pay isnt enough, it needs to be more like 95% of LT contract is what he deserves
Yeah, well I think there isn't enough of a difference because both players mean different things to their teams. Money should be equal or there abouts
