Shawn Langdon won the NHRA Summernationals on Sunday for his third Top Fuel victory of the season, beating teammate Khalid alBalooshi in the final at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.

Langdon had a run of 3.853 seconds at 316.38 mph in the final. He took the season points lead with his second consecutive victory.

"From the first round to the final, we've made some really strong runs," Langdon said. "The run wasn't quite as fast as we were wanting it to be. But the first Al-Anabi Racing team final between alBalooshi and me is a great way to end it."

Matt Hagan topped the Funny Car field to take the season points lead, Mike Edwards raced to his third Pro Stock victory of the year, and Michael Ray won in Pro Stock Motorcycle.
