I don't have a problem with what Springs said. He isn't really trash talking here. Just another example of media sensationalism. For those not understanding the Usain Bolt comment... Awhile ago, Owens said he wanted to race Bolt (but Owens wanted a 20 meter head start... or something like that) and race him. If anyone caught the... (Eagles?) game where he celebrated by going into a sprinter's pose... that was why he did it. And there is a rumor floating around the Bolt's people have contacted Owens about doing this...
Well if he beats Bolt with a 20m head start, is that really an accomplishment? I can only see it turning out badly if Bolt overtakes him.
Owens says he has nothing to lose; if he loses to Bolt... no big deal. Everyone does. If he wins... imagine the publicity! Of course, that won't happen... But if they do this, it will be a huge media event. My guess is Owens will make some money. Very smart.
