Shawn Thornton, who met with the media for the first time since suffering a concussion in a fight with Sabres enforcer John Scott in a 7-4 Bruins loss Jan. 30, said he is now cleared for contact and practice. Thornton is unsure whether he will play in either of the Bruins' back-to-back games Saturday (versus Tampa Bay) and Sunday (versus Scott and the Sabres).
