Rasheed Wallace started Game 7 of the NBA Finals for the Celtics due to Kendrick Perkins' right knee injuries. That start may have been last game in the NBA for the 15-year veteran. "He was a warrior," Doc Rivers told the media, including Chris Forsberg of ESPNBoston.com, after the game. "I don't know if Rasheed will ever play again. You know, he's one of them. I think he took that out on the floor with him. I think he is thinking about retiring, and I thought you could see that in his play. He was dying out there. When he got the cramps and the strains, he was just trying to figure out a way of staying on the floor." Kevin Garnett didn't sound optimistic about his return, either. "Not a good one ... I see a lot of myself in him and we have a lot of the same ties and a lot of the same characteristics. Both the class of '95 ... so for him to come in and give his thanks and his regards after a loss like this ... it was a difficult night." Wallace is scheduled to make $6.3 million in 2010-11 and has a player option for $6.8 million in 2011-12. Source: ESPN Boston
He was ok, they should have went to him more vs. Gasol. He always plays good d, but he can't rebound, nor does he want to.
