Yes, Rasheed is said to be a New-Yorker next year. He will sign without looking the money thing. And New York will be too strong for the East next year.

wow. I wonder if Sheed has a no trade clause in his contract. He better hope so cause if not, I imagine Portland would want to move him ASAP.

Well, if he does.... New York will be dominate next year. Imagine

    PG: Stephon Marbury
    SG: Allan Houston
    SF: Keith Van Horn
    PF: Rasheed Wallace
    C: Dikembe Mutombo

If that happens, watch out. Knicks might actually get to the Finals. One question, would they try to keep Kurt Thomas if Sheed comes?

I don't see how people are thinking this is a good thing. First we got Steph who is a confirmed ball hog..then we have Van Horn who doesnt have the greatest reputation...then we have Allan Houston who is not very clutch in big games..then we move on to Sheed who has a widely known attitude problem....I just don't see it as a good move right now..I think they would be better of staying with Kurt.

I see people with Van Horn & Sheed on the same team thats a horrible mix. Why would you want 2 SF/PF obession with taking 3pt shots. And Van Horn doesnt react well to playing along side a player like Rasheed. Once K-mart called Van Horn out. Van had to be traded because everybody knew Van horn couldnt handle it. So whats going to happen the 1st time Sheed calls out Van Horn. And we all know sheed is known for talking about team problems to the media. And I have one question for all the people that want Rasheed on the Knicks. Who on the current Knicks roster can control Rasheed during those times when he needs to be put in his place? This aint the early 90's knicks where you have Patrick Ewing & Clarles Oakley to inforce the law in the locker room. You need that type of player to tell Rasheed to chill every now & then. The Knicks have no one that Rasheed would even repect honestly. Who going to tell him to chill out Allan Houstan or Kieth Van horn? Please Rasheed not listen to them. Steph the team leader, but steph has already had so many problems with former teamates when he has took the leader ship position. Van Horn, K-mart in Jersey. And I heard a report when Steph was 1st traded to Ny, it was partly because Amare & Marion had a problem with him leading them. So if people in the past have had problems with Steph leading in the past. why would it be any different with Rasheed? And Lenny Wilkens isnt the type of coach that can control Rasheed when he starts to bug out. Lenny Wilkens is form the Ol skool going back & forth with players isnt in his character. Thats why he just let Vince run his mouth in toronto.

Steph is averaging 9.9 APG as a Knick so never ever ever ever call him a ball hog

ever seen him play before he was in NY uni? Before Im 100% Steph is a changed player I'll have to see him play an entire season and not return back to the way he was before.

How could you possibly think that he has a no-trade clause? Have you heard all all of the trade rumors that he's been involved in?

Do you consider a career average of 8 APG a ballhog?

Yea man Blazers have suffered enough with this thug-plaqued franchise so i suggest they ship Wallace out ASAP, they already shipped Bonzi Wells time for some clean up... lets get a trash truck and dump the rest of them away

Whoa, whoa, whoa. This is a Peter Vecsey article, and I'm sorry, but Vecsey is crap. He eats crap for breakfast, and then dreams up fanciful tales. It would be nice for everyone(especially the Knicks) if Rasheed(no W there Peter(yes, I know what he was implying)) went to New York, but who really believes that Wallace would take a drastic pay cut to go to a team that hasn't made the playoffs in two years?

Where have you been? There have been Sheed trade rumors involving the Mavs and Warriors as well. In fact, the Knicks rumors are the most recent.
