The Spokane Shock announced today that DL Terrance Taylor has been added to the 2011 roster. In another roster move, Spokane traded DL Richard Clebert to the Tampa Bay Storm for future considerations. Taylor, 6-0 300, spent last season with the Detroit Lions as a member of its practice squad. In 2009, Taylor was drafted in the fourth-round by the Indianapolis Colts after a decorated collegiate career at the University of Michigan. A three-year starter for the Wolverines, Taylor registered 114 tackles, including 17.5 for loss with six sacks. "The first thing you notice about Taylor is his size and how athletic he is for someone of his size," Head Coach Rob Keefe explained. "Anyone that is capable of putting up 37 reps on a 225-pound bench press can help push that center back and cause havoc for an opposing offense. With Taylor's strength he helps makes his teammates around him better too."
