    Tulsa Shock guard Shavonte Zellous has been traded to the Indiana Fever for a future draft pick, the Shock announced Thursday evening.

    Zellous, a 5-foot-10 guard from Pittsburgh, averaged 4.0 points and 2.5 assists per game in the Shock’s first four games.

    The No. 11 overall draft selection in the 2009, Zellous averaged 11.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in her rookie season with Detroit. Her numbers improved in the playoffs, averaging 15.6 points and 5.0 rebounds to earn a spot on the 2009 adidas All-Rookie First Team after ranking second in scoring among rookie players.
