I missed tonight's Suns game, but I caught the highlights on Fox Sports Net. So correct me if I'm wrong, but Shawn Marion was one point off of being the first player in 50 years to go 4 straight games with 30+ pts. and 15+ reb. The last Sun to come close was when Barkley did it for 3 games in 92-93 if I'm not mistaken. That sucks a lot. Marion more than deserves to be in the record books with how freakishly talented he is. I'm even rooting that they split the MVP between Matrix and Nash, because this season, they both deserve it.

Maybe you're just talking about a team record, but Shaq did this as recently as the 2000 season (11/19 - 11/26).

And I'm pretty sure players of the past like Wilt, Bellamy, Elgin, Kareem, and possibly Moses also did it. That would have certainly been great company!

My mistake. It's still an impressive feat to accomplish or be close to.
