Should Kevin Garnett Be Playing?

Kevin Garnett may have pumped in 19 points against the Wizards last evening, but after missing 10 games due to a hyperextended right knee recently, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that not everyone thinks Garnett should be playing.

"What no one here wants is the season ending the way it did a year ago, with a broken-down Garnett unfit or unavailable for the playoffs," he writes. "The doctors have cleared Garnett, and he plays on, but multiple sources say there's a sentiment that maybe his hyperextended right knee would be best suited to sit out longer."

Of course, if he's cleared to play, Garnett will play. But as ESPN's John Hollinger writes, Garnett is gimping around on the court and the Celtics' age is showing through -- both things that could hinder another title run.
