Just a quick question. How much credit should Scott Skiles get for the Bulls success? Because Gordon is doing great this season and so is hinrich and curry. It seems like he is doing a great job but what do you think?

He deserves a lot of credit. He's the reason for the defense we've played this year, which has been the key to everything positive this year. With the exception of probably games like tonight, where we allowed 115 points to be scored, but even then we played good enough defense to win. His blue-collar hard work style really is a great fit for us because being young, you're bound to hit some walls and have inconsistency, so if we slug it out and play good defense every night even if someone's off, we can win.

All in all, Skiles is at the very least a solid coach, and he's shut up all his critics (that matter) and gained his respect, he is a legitimate COY contender.

I dont see how he couldnt be a COY candidate.
We have already passed last years win total before the break.
We havent really added any all stars (lke Miami) we have just done it through the Draft (Gordon, Duhon, Deng) plus Nocioni.

I think Skiles deserves a HUGE amount of credit for our success. He's instilled discipline on the young players and because of that, players like Gordon and Deng are maturing a lot faster than what they would under a lot of other coaches. I don't know if the Bulls would be nearly this good if it wasn't for the job he's done coaching. Plus, he hasn't been afraid to shake things up (taking Noc and BG out of the starting lineup in favor of Duhon and Deng). He's done all the right things. He definitely deserves COY consideriation....to bad it's likely to go to Mike D'Antoni out in Phoenix...but we'll just have to wait and see.
