Should the Bulls make a move before the trade deadline or should they keep this surging core intact? There are several variables to weigh not the least of which is the (restricted) free agency next year of Curry and Chandler.

no, they have the team play'n and looking to best since 98' i think the Bulls need to resign Chandler and Curry to maybe a 3 or 4yr deal they are playing good because its their contract year and if they Bulls dont sign them then they could get alot more money somewhere else but i think the best thing to do is keep the same core of young guys and let them develop each other.

I honestly wouldn't. This team is playing great right now. They started out 0-9 and are what a couple games away from being a .500 team? I think they keep it how it is. Their rookies are really helping them out.

i agree with the majority, no trades unless its someone who doesnt play, i cant imagine that affecting anyone.

Of course not! Everything is going well for them. Why fix something that isn't broken? All it will do is disrupt chemistry, and take away some wins. Sounds like the Tim Thomas/Keith Van Horn trade all over agin if it goes down...only for Chicago.

I'm just wondering....WHY?! If they continue to play well, there is NO reason to dismantle the team thsi season. No reason at all. If they start to slide, than contemplate it. However, if they're still playing good basketball, don't do a damn thing. There is no reason to. They already have a solid core of players and good depth at most every position. So, in my opinion, unless they're trading a useless role player or they have intentions on picking up some huge star, there is no reason to do anything. It could jeapordize team chemistry and that's not needed right now.

    Simple answer, of course not.

The team has been playing on fire over the last month and a half and that doesn't seem to be letting up. The question now is, how far can they go with this surging roster of young talent? I'm assuming their first playoff appearance since 98'.

Is there any rumor of a trade going on?

the only rumors i have heard involve Latrell Sprewell, but that doesnt involve the bulls.

IDK ive heard rumors we might get Latrell, I don't want him personally. I feel that now we are sitting in the 8th somewhere that nobody expected. I say we keep this crew together.

The Bulls won't trade for a player like Sprewell whom is on the way down in a quick fasion.

Breaking up the young team when they're finally gelling and winning teams will be a foolish move for the Bulls to make. Although Curry and Chandler will become free agents after this season, I think Paxson should use that as motivation for them to step up their play even more and earn their contract extensions. If the Bulls can let Curry and Chandler carry them to the playoffs, they would deserve a big payday.

i heard that frank williams is being eyed by a couple teams like detroit and houston, maybe they'll trade him for a second round pick, otherwise the core of the team should stay the same

If it's Frank Williams I'm fine with a trade but I don't want to lose any of our young guys. This team has a chemistry going now and there's no reason to break it up. Aside from that, the Bulls could contend in the East without making a move(barring injury). In a year or two I think it will be time to build the team for the big championship but right now it's early. The team is young and still learning so let them do that without messing with the formula.
