I loved the presentation of the NBA on NBC... it was just great all-around. The broadcasts today are just horrible, outside of TNT of course.
I honestly don't know because I didn't watch a lot of basketball when it was on NBC but I've heard it was better. I didn't start watching a lot of basketball on tv until the 04/05 season.
I dont really remember watchin basketball then either. But I used to hear the theme saong all the time when I was younger. Brings good memories though.
Absolutely, I only got 3 years of it, but being a Lakers fan, I saw some of the best games ever on it, and the atmosphere at games now are no where close to what it was like back then.
Yeah they should go back to NBC. I first started watching basketball on the NBC and then when they went to ABC :thumbdn1: And if they did go back to NBC, I would be able to see more games because right now, I don't have cable..... :Swoon:
those NBC days were great a lot of great games alot of terrific memories and they had one of the best announcers of all time announcing in bob costas he was great. mike breen isent to bad though i would hope they would put him on NBC

Of course they should bring back the nba on nbc and I don't like it on TNT and I can't stand it on ESPN for some reason. I just loved the theme music and it was just more enjoyable to watch with Ahmad Rashad and it would be a great idea to bring the old cast back to nbc.
