He's having some problems negotiating his contract with Seattle. They are talking about a S & T. I think we should snag him. He'll probably want around 6 or 7 mill, which is a bit of a stretch, but he'd be very solid for us, it's a great fit. We need an athletic big man that can play with some power, and we know he can rebound. So what do you think?
I would LOVE Wilcox on our team. But where would he fit? I mean we already have Gomes, Big Al, Perk, and Ratliff - they all deserve minutes. Unless we trade one of them in return, I don't see him fitting. But if we could unload one of these guys and get a fair deal in return, I say why not?
we can't depend on Ratliff playing any more than 50 games AT MOST this season. We're not strong enough at Center. Wilcox can play Center. I think he'd be an excellent fit.

How in the world could Doc possible separate the minutes between Gomes, Al, Perk, Wilcox, and Ratliff? I think Doc has taken too much heat from our fans. All he needs is a set team and a set rotation.
If we could get the Sonics to sign-and-trade him for Wally, like a 3 year deal or something, sure get him. Would be hard to fit him in the rotation though.
idk if i'd give up wally for him. i was thinking something like maybe Scabs and a pick, maybe with TA, something like that.

FORGET IT!</div>Ya, that is why I mentioned Wally, but Wilcox will prob want a long term deal, so I don't see him in a C's uni. Who do you think would give him something remotely close to that? I can't think of anyone that needs a 4/5 that bad! He could be a nice pairing with Duncan in SA. Perhaps he would take less money to have a chance to win a ring?
Chris Wilcox? The guy had like 30 good games for Seattle, he's still unproven. He wants 9 MIL? Mark him as the next way overpaid big man in the NBA if he gets that much.
After thinking about it more I wouldn't want him in Boston at all. He would be looking to get big minutes and with Gomes and Jefferson there is no room! And I don't think he would do so great as a full time 5, and I really like Perkins and if Ratlif can stay healthy they would be set anyways.
