Wow, I just offered this public leaguer a trade and he countered it with his own. I'm not sure if I should go up on it or not. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b347/Env...ahoo_trade1.png OFFERED: Yao Ming, Marquis Daniels, Rashard McCants, and Desmond Mason REQUESTED: Gilbert Arenas, Shaquille O'Neal, Stromile Swift He's getting more superstar players, but as my name, Stat Rack, plays off, I think his offer would get me farther. Yao will be better than Shaq this year - already he has a better arsenal of moves and Shaq's FT % kills it for me with him. Sure, Shaq gets plays named after his because he's so dominant, but how dominant can you really be beside Antoine Walker now? He won't put up the same numbers. Gilbert Arenas was my first pick (11th overall) and he has the ability to lead the league in scoring now that Larry Hughes is in Cleveland. Guard-for-guard, he's giving me McCants, who did great at UNC, but is a rookie, so I have doubts. In the preseason, he's getting 11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. I'm not having a hard time giving up Stromile, since I have Emeka, Shaq/Yao, and Rasheed, who can all play center nicely. Desmond Mason is another player who is an outcast on his team, him and Michael Redd are all Milwaukee has. Andrew Bogut won't even start. 3-for-3, it's lopsided, but he's also offering me Marquis Daniels, who got about 9 points, 2 assists, and 1 steal PG last year. What should I do!?
not take it. dude yao is better than shaq, but arenas is waay better than the other 3 guys combined and you give up swift, wow..this should be a no brainer not to do, granted marquis is one of my fave players, but that is way too much. if you want offer up, shaq and swift for yao and see what happens..or accept his trade regretting it later, but whatever you do get rid of shaq for anyone..you don't need yao, you have sheed, okafor, and swift for centers. trade shaq for a forward is my advice unless of course you like the big diesel..
dude you god R.Wallace and Shaq? are you playing rottisserie or head-to-head? if you're playing rotisserie go swap Shaq for a good sg, try to get some stupid guy who doesm't think about ft% and trade for maybe Allen, Vince or Pierce (don't think anyone with Kobe would take that trade...) if you're playing head-to-head, swap Rasheed for a decent sg, someone who has Steve Francis or Mike Bibby should accept the offer oh ya and also even if you're playing head-to-head try to swap shaq, for B.Miller, Yao or Tim Duncan...
