Given more thought, I'd hit Vienna first off- see the Performing Spanish Riding School Lipizzaner's show and tour inspect its antiquated work of art-building(s): Winterreitschule. Take the architecture tour also: - (Ref: *** 1 ).... check out every museum in sight. Start the day- take the architecture tour of Wiener Konzerthaus, (Spanish RS) landmark-(Ref: *** 1 ) Take a tour of the Hofburg Palace, next door; afterwards. Get a great bite to eat in an antiquated Dining Hall, ie a street corner hot brat kraut cart.... ^^^Matts, I caught the Lipizzaner Stallion show when they came to town about 15 years ago. They are some beautiful animals and quite large as horses go...I was blown away by the things they were able to train those horses to do...great show.
...^^^ I'm glad You got to catch the show, its riveting, stunning to say the least. We've seen them at the GW Forum, a red carpet show, then the following year out here in the Desert. Both shows were incredible, tho' the desert show was nothing like the grander stage of the Forum.... Always have wanted to see the show in Vienna, since I was a kid, the wife also...a spectacular spectacle if there ever was one....
