Bynum is now a free agent. Sign him! If we can get him on the cheap - it is a no-lose scenario. In fact, he might be that extra big that we need to win it all. I know, I know.....but if he can keep his head straight and realize he has a chance to win a ring and potentially revive his career in Portland, PDX just might be the City to show this guy the love he needs to turn it around. ????
Nope. I can understand the occassional bonehead moment... but he's had a bonehad last 3 seasons. No thanks.
Only thing we have to offer is the vet minimum. If he's down with that, then by all means, give it a shot. If he becomes a problem, then you cut him.
No thank you on signing Bynum. Right now he couldn't tie Joel Freelands shoelaces as far as I'm concerned. Let the guy get out of the game, that's what he really wants, he's already got his nest egg. Also not a fan of serious knee injury problems being anywhere near a Blazer uniform anytime soon.
Fuck Andrew Bynum. I question his sanity as well as the sanity of anyone who thinks signing him is a good idea.
That guy needs a veteran lead locker room. We simply do not have that, the Spurs, Clippers, and Heat are the only real destinations for him.
Given that Miami has their full MLE to offer him, I think you can be pretty sure that's where he's going to end up. Oden and Bynum on the same team. Do they have a pair of good knees between the two of them?
You think? Oden got a minute in the preseason and he's looked pretty mobile in pre game work outs that were posted here before the Miami game. Also he seems to be the forgotten man, I wouldn't be surprised to see him appear around playoff time and surprise people.
He played a couple minutes in a preseason game and hasn't been able to see the court since then. I think his knees swelled up and he has been trying to work back ever since. The guy is done.
you might be right but I hope not. Wouldn't it be ironic if he was the difference against us in the finals though. I would just give up basketball forever.
