    Pondering a trade to land CP3 / Okafor:

    Miller / JPEC / Rudy / Bayless / Camby

    Then sign Shaq for the MLE! He'd be a teacher to Oden and fantastic in Nate's slow-down offense. Coming off the bench...and if Oden gets hurt, he can start.

    Nate would have him cruise around the 3 point line, which is fine, but as for Nate's catch and shoot plan, I disagree, I say have him squawk out there and turn into the world's largest duck decoy.

    Shaq has turned down trade offers to come to portland when he was actually good and not washed up so I think he'd go to a team with a bigger market to try and get 1 last ring.

    The only interest I would have in Shaq is if we had injuries to two frontcourt players out of Oden/Camby/LaMarcus and had to start a guy like Juwan Howard or Jeff Pendergraph at center. In a situation like that, shaq would be a superior player to having crap on the floor. But trying to get Shaq to integrate into a backup role and defer to younger players is not a situation that would fit well for either party.
