Yeah...so...I can't believe this one, lol...

Rashad Evans claims he has an in with Big Foot's camp and that Fedor was upset because his priest didn't show up and that it messed with him mentally...interesting, plausible theory...

The second round didn't demonstrate a lack of preparation or will or conditioning by Emelianenko--it was all lack of technique. He couldn't handle having a giant black belt on him. He was able to survive but not before taking so much punishment the fight had to be stopped. I don't know what kind of an excuse you can make for that other than he was less skilled.

I think less skilled is a bad way to put it. I think it is more he was just in a horrible position with a man who came into fight night weighing about 280...he had 50 lbs on Fedor and he used that to his advantage.

Speaking of Fedor, I find it rather hilarious that everyone can respect the man and what he has done and give him his props...except Dana White and Jim Rome...Rashad Evans, Phil Baroni, Overeem, BJ Penn, and others have recently called him the G.O.A.T...I wonder how Dana feels about that? Some of his fighters throwing out their opinions on Fedor...

He fought bigger guys before. He's had Mark Hunt and Hong Man Choi in his guard. The difference was he had the skill to compensate. This time--not so much.

I guess you're right. It is just weird seeing Fedor being called less-skilled.

I read on cp that Fedor's manager said that stuff tongue in cheek but they've said some pretty crazy shit over the years so i dunno who to believe.

The interviewer claims he transcribed the conversation verbatim and what VV said was completely straight-faced.
