    If the lottery were held today, we'd have the best shot at Greg Oden. Maybe keeping Nurse Rivers around won't be so bad in the long run.

    Nurse Rivers will then stunt Oden's growth too, so maybe that's still not a good turn of events. And besides, you know the Spurs will win the pick somehow, and it'll be Pitino all over again. We could have a 98.8% chance of landing Oden and we'd still blow it, after Stern does everything under the cover of a media blackout, and hand selects the Knicks for the first pick, and we end up with the 13th.

    And that's beside the fact that Oden might not even enter this draft.
