http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/silvestre-completes-move-to-werder-bremen Mikael Silvestre has joined German club Werder Bremen. The former Arsenal defender left Emirates Stadium when his contract expired this summer and will now embark on what he describes as a "new adventure" in the Bundesliga. Silvestre spent two years with the Gunners, making 43 appearances and scoring three goals, including one in a North London derby against Tottenham in 2008. The 33-year-old could face Spurs again this season - Harry Redknapp's side are in the same Champions League group as Werder Bremen.
