This is fast becoming a bad situation. With Bogut and now Simmons out, those are some of our young core guys. I don't like to think of relying on Patterson as the starting 3. That just means that when Simmons comes back, Patterson will whine about his minutes going down and we'll have a typical drama fest with him. Ugh. Hopefully our other guys pick up the slack. This means that Charlie V is REALLY going to have to start hot. With two of our three frontcourt projected starters out, he can't allow himself to be as inconsistent as he was last year. He needs to become a solid scoring option in the paint night in night out, and he needs to do it now for us to get off to a good start. Last year, we started 3-0 and finished a game under .500.
