Re: SI's NFC East: Impact Newcomers SI's ranked the top 10 NFC Impact Newcomers. It's pretty interesting!1. TO - Dallas2. Andre Carter - Washington3. Brodrick Buckley - Philly4. LaVar Arrington - New York5. Mike Vanderjagt - Dallas6. Adam Archulet - Washington7. Darren Howard - Philly8. Sam Madison - New York9. Bobby Carpenter - Dallas10. Antwaan Randle El - WashingtonWeight on what you think. I do think there are a few that can be very debatable...http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi.../content.1.html
Re: SI's NFC East: Impact Newcomers I like how it didn't say POSITIVE impact. It just said impact. Might explain why TO is number one on the list... even though it didn't go in order lol

Re: SI's NFC East: Impact Newcomers Where did it say 'not in order'?I think its overestimating the impact that Vanderjact is going to have in Dallas. He is a dome kicker who for the first time will have to play outside of the dome and he has a reputation for choking when it really matters (ie: The Playoffs) and I think they're overestimating the impact Bunkley will have right away since hes mainly a pass rusher who has had trouble stopping the run and could very well end up being the same kind of player Dewayne Robertson is now for the Jets (ie: Average player with Great Flashes). Also gotta love how Brandon Lloyd isnt in the top 10. Although personally I would have put him 10th and left Randle El off the list.
Re: SI's NFC East: Impact Newcomers Randle El might end up making more of an impact then Lloyd will because he will be a key special teamer and playing WR (not to mention we ARE going to use him for trick plays). Nethertheless, they will both make an impact in the NFC East and both belong on the list.
Re: SI's NFC East: Impact Newcomers I almost completely forgot about how bad the kicking was last year for Dallas. Of course it drove me to the edge so many times, I should not have fogotten so soon.I think Mikey V may be a bigger impact for Dallas then even TO. Remember the Cowboys gave up Keyshawn.

Re: SI's NFC East: Impact Newcomers There's no way it's on order... why would they put Carter at #2? It should be either Randle El or Lloyd. Plus if it was in order the would've counted down, not up (if you click the link you know what I'm talking about).

They obviously put Andre Carter #2 because they felt that the Redskins had a big weakness at DE and that Carter was going to help address that weakness.
