But he posted that the Blazers will finish first? What the hell are folks supposed to post about? How are they supposed to rant about his rankings?
I can see it now- Mixum will say that the BAckcourt cant coexist.. but comepletely ignore the bold prediction. What delusional writers
Portland has no business not finishing first. Unless they have a rash of injuries, there is no reason they shouldn't be first in the division.
My bold opinion would be...even if Bynum is healthy, if we have all 3 of Camby/Oden/Przy available (even at 75%) we're tough for the L*kers to stop.
Until we have some centers that come back and play, we are technically, still suffering from last years rash of injuries.
I like this part......... 311 Number of games lost to injury by 13 Blazers players last season. Yet the Blazers still equaled the win total of the Thunder, who experienced good health throughout the season, a compelling reason to like Portland over OKC in the 2010-11 division race.
Damn... I sure wish this year can finally be the one we can put it together and show the potential, and actually challenge the Fakers. We need G.O. back asap to make that happen, though.
^Disagree a bit. I think we need Oden back, healthy and in game-shape, for the playoffs to make that happen. If he comes back at the All-Star Break (not saying I expect that, just pointing out a hypothetical) he'll still get around 30 games to work into shape and be in beast mode for the playoffs. I think this team, without Oden, can make the playoffs.
I like how Webster is listed as our biggest loss but isn't even mentioned as an acquisition by Minny. Can you say talent disparity?
We can make the playoffs.. but again, won't do much without him. Just the sooner we get G.O. on the court healthy, the better. Nonetheless, I just hope this is the year we can just make some noise ... and not have to just talk about how we 'could' do something.
+1 G.O is the big question mark this season and if a healthy G.O I think we could go all the way to the WCF.
Doesn't matter if Bynum is healthy or not. They can't handle a Batum/Cunningham/Aldridge/Camby/Oden/Pryz front court.
I think the NW division is the second toughest division in the NBA behind the Southeast with Miami, Orlando and Atlanta. NW is like the PAC 10 . . . don't count any team out
