This offseason's been full of hype, along with a few words from naysayers or morons (Rosen). The W's have one more preseason game vs. the Suns, then its a 5 day lay off. I haven't been this excited for a season since the infamous Avery Johnson, Latrell Sprewell, Chris Mullin, Chris Webber, and Rony Seikaly season...
I'm glad the Warriors have a shot at making the playoffs but I'll be cautious until we get those results we desperately need. Our team is good, but very limited in the amount of ways we can win. We're very dependent on the dribble penetration to create offense and how well we can shoot the three ball. We are not a good defensive team and we're not good enough at rebounding when we play small. The Warriors should do well because they've got a lot of talent and their minds are at least focussed on getting to the post season. There aren't any slackers on the squad and there are plenty of guys with chips on their shoulders who want to win.
W's ought to be similar to their late season version that played well,though it's hard to see that in the pre-season games. Once everyone is back and in the groove we will win a few games just with our depth. I'm hopeful the D will have improve some.
