    Despite having watched the fight a few weeks ago I couldn't remember the name of the kid that won. I could remember that he beat Artem (ARTEM!) Lobov and that the fight was pretty shit.

    Possible reasons for the continuation/expansion of TUF...

    - cheap to produce, generates enough advertising revenue to cover costs
    - international versions create new fanbases/increase brand awareness

    More reasons, more nefarious...

    - locks non-winning fighters into non-negotiable low-paying base deals
    - cheaper than signing talent from other feds like Legacy (see: Sage Northcutt)
    - cheaper than building a developmental system/league
