Moments after running a play to get Richard Hamilton a layup, the Detroit Pistons added a twist to set up Tayshaun Prince for a short jumper.

Prince's 11-footer with 24.5 seconds left put the Pistons ahead and his two free throws sealed a 99-95 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.

Hamilton scored 25 points and Prince had 19 for the Pistons, who extended their season-long winning streak to five games. Detroit has won 12 of 16 since falling to .500 on Dec. 11. Chauncey Billups' 3-pointer and Rasheed Wallace's long jumper put Detroit ahead 95-93.</div>

    Recap

Amazing how the Pistons nearly lost that game after having a 14 point 4th quarter lead. Things like that should never happen and the Pistons need to learn how to hold onto leads. With that said they were bound to be abit tired as they have played alot of games lately.

It's more like the 76ers needs to learn how to hold onto leads. This lost was like the 4-5 lost we suffered this season due to our inability to hold onto a lead. We were up by five points with less than two minutes left, and we just collapsed and didn't make those necessary shots. Good effort nonetheless by the 76ers, but like Iverson said himself "I'm tired of these moral wins", and so am I...
