<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Sixers' season opener is 12 days away, and so far - in four preseason games - they have yet to be able to play their projected starting lineup.

But coach Randy Ayers is hoping to be able to have his regular rotation in place by this weekend's exhibition games at Utah and Dallas. It may be wishful thinking.

"We've got to start putting some things together," said Ayers, whose team is 1-3 this preseason. "From here on in, we've got to have focus every day."

While Derrick Coleman appears close to a return, forward Kenny Thomas, who is the projected starter at power forward, is still suffering from a right flank contusion and right Achilles' tendinitis.

Reserves Monty Williams (left knee tendinitis) and Greg Buckner (left hamstring strain) are also banged up.</div>

    Full Story...

Yup. Missing so many players is why we have not done so good in the preseason. We are missing key players that cannot be filled in for. I hope the squad gets healthy, knowing that Coleman is doing good is a big plus.
