As they get reacclimated to American shores, they have a new vice president who will acclimate to the NBA.

The Sixers hired Steve Yaros as vice president of marketing, with duties including overseeing all the advertising promotions and game-day preparations.

Yaros had spent 3 years as the general manager of the Delmarva Shorebirds baseball team, which is also owned by Comcast-Spectacor, owner of the Sixers.

"I'm very honored and proud that they gave me this opportunity," Yaros told the Daily Times, of Salisbury, Md.
